I’ve recently started trying different gel eye liner products and it’s definitely something I love.  Cailyn Cosmetics sent me a few products to try out and review, plus some to share with you!

The gel eyeliner is a great product AND the packaging is brilliant!  I bought a Maybelline gel eyeliner a few weeks ago, and really like the product, but the eye liner is a little container and the brush is a separate piece.  It has a little plastic sleeve for the brush end of the wand but that keeps falling off and the left over eyeliner on my brush gets on my cosmetic bag.

What I love about the Cailyn eyeliner is that the container lid is where the brush “lives”.  When I’m done using the eyeliner I push the wand back into the holder/lid, screw it back onto the base which holds the gel, and it’s all safe.

The brush is soft enough to not hurt my eye lids, but firm enough to give a good line.  It does dry quickly and stay put so if you have never used a brush applicator, practice a few times.  Not two seconds before you have to head out the door.  A quick swipe with a makeup remove wipe easily touches up if you make a boo boo.

With a huge variety of color choices (blue, black, iron, charcoal, purple, brown, etc) there is surely a color, or two, for you.
